Stuff

It’s funny how we get so excited about certain stuff. Football fans go wild when their team wins and everyone will know who they follow. Team shirt, scarves, jackets, books and club websites give us a sense of belonging to the club and loads of info and history about the team is squeezed into our minds.

Or perhaps it’s your favourite band or singer that you are passionate about. You will queqe for their latests CD, get all the downloads for your i pod or computer and read every article and magazine with features on them.

It’s great to have be passionate about things and to tell others about it. it’s fanastic to find all the info and share it with your friends. We need your teenagers with a passion for life.

In Fusion we are passionate about God and the difference He makes in our lives. Fusion is a God thing, yes the music , the dance and all the ingredience that goes into making Fusion what it is, comes from our heart for God. We are passionate about God and we want to share it with you.

God is amazing, He is an awesome friend and we want you to see that God is a God for you today, in your culture and in the world you live. God is in the music, He is everywhere and we think He is the best!! Fusion is encouraging you to stop and consider God, to go against the flow, to try a different lifestyle. And do you know what you wont be disappointed.

Romance Academy

Fusion is launching the first Romance Academy in Northern Ireland following on from its successful series on BBC2 and new Academies springing up across Britain.

The Romance Academy is a 15-week programme taking a holistic look at sex and relationships. The course explores areas such as:

• Health
• Confidence Building
• Building healthy relationships
• Sex
• Drugs and alcohol
• Peer pressure
• Communication skills
• Team Building
• Problem solving

We are committed to give young people the opportunity to:
Explore information about sex and relationships
Assess their decision-making and the consequences of their actions
Discover and build self-confidence
Evaluate their values and attitudes on a variety of issues
Grow in confidence in making decisions that support their values.

It is our hope that the young people will go on a journey of self-discovery and find themselves able to value themselves, others and their choices as a result.

Romance Academy will run throughout the year and more information can be obtained from Keith or Zara who are trained to run the course.
